BC offers McQuarrie

John Stark quarterback Drew McQuarrie has added Boston College to his list of scholarship offers.

Boston College assistant coach Jim Reid first contacted McQuarrie last weekend, one day after he received an offer from the University of New Hampshire. BC extended an offer this weekend.

UNH offered McQuarrie, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound junior, when he attended a UNH practice earlier this month.

McQuarrie also has offers from Temple and Harvard. He has been John Stark’s starting quarterback since his sophomore season. He completed 75 of 109 passes for 1,358 yards and 17 touchdowns (three interceptions) last season, when he also had 51 carries for 550 yards and four TDs.
