Shrine rosters released

Rosters for the 67th annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl were announced Wednesday. This year’s game will be played Aug. 1 at Castleton (Vt.) University.

Alvirne High School football coach Tarek Rothe has already made plans for his next wedding anniversary. Rothe will be at Castleton (Vt.) State University putting the finishing touches on his game plan for the 67th Annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl.

Alvirne’s Tarek Rothe is New Hampshire’s head coach. St. Johnsbury’s Rich Alercio will coach Vermont.

New Hampshire ended a three-game losing streak by beating Vermont 21-9 in last year’s Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl. That victory gave New Hampshire a 48-16-2 advantage in the series.
