CHaD GAME
PRACTICE REPORT
The East team named its five captains Tuesday: Jack Mackiernan (Pinkerton), Riley Boles (Londonderry), Darian Lopez-Sullivan (Dover), Aidan MacDonald (Salem) and Colby Ramshaw (Londonderry). “Great group of kids,” East coach Kevin Hebert said. “We always do our top fundraiser, which is Mackiernan. Jack is a quiet kid who’s a baller — he gets after it. He’s the second overall fundraiser and Colby is third, so they both really took that part of it to heart. Colby is going to go on to do great things at UNH. I really got to know Riley this week and he has a motor that just doesn’t stop. In fact (Londonderry coach) Jimmy Lauzon said even in walkthroughs you’re going to have to dial him back. That’s just how he’s wired. I got to watch Darian very closely for four years at Spaulding and I was very happy for him. Well-deserved, great leader. Really put that Dover team on his back the last couple years. Then Aidan … offensively he’s a manchild in terms of what we’re trying to accomplish. The kids have great respect for him.” … The West will announce its captains Wednesday. … The East will practice at St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.. The West is scheduled to practice at Manchester West High School on Wednesday, also from 4-8 p.m. … There will be a barbecue for both teams Friday at Saint Anselm. … More information on this year’s game, including how to donate to the cause or purchase tickets, can be found on the CHaD East/West All-Star Game web site.
