Bryant offers South’s Osgood

Nashua South tight end Max Osgood landed a scholarship offer from Bryant University on Thursday night. Osgood said he received the offer from Bryant tight ends coach John Sielawa, who saw Osgood at three camps this summer.
“He said he liked my size (6-4 1/2, 240 pounds) and my athleticism for my size,” Osgood said.
Osgood also plays varsity basketball and varsity lacrosse for Nashua South.
Bryant is a Division I (FCS) program located in Smithfield, R.I. The Bulldogs compete in the Northeast Conference.
“I took a mini-tour of the school when I went to camp there,” Osgood said. “I loved it.”
