Richard Bell (Stevens)
• Senior running back rushed for 116 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries in a 43-6 opening-night win over Mascoma.
Andrew Brothers (Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough)
• Running back ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns on six carries, and also scored on a 65-yard punt return in the first half of a 48-6 triumph over Fall Mountain.
Defense (Bow)
• The Falcons help Pembroke to 46 yards of offense and three first down in their first Division II game, a 42-0 victory. Bow also recorded five sack
Shawn DeKorne (St. Thomas)
• Sophomore quarterback completed 14 of 22 pass attempts for 322 yards and four touchdowns in his first varsity start as St. Thomas pulled away from Sanborn, 35-6.
Joe Delaney (Hollis/Brookline)
• Quarterback completed 24 of 36 passes for 314 yards and in 40-14 loss to Windham.
Sean Holland (Nashua South)
• Junior quarterback completed 17 of 22 passes for 219 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran for 126 yards and four TDs on 14 carries in the first half of South’s 76-41 victory over Spaulding.
Max Joyce (Franklin)
• Running back gained 205 yards, rushed for six touchdowns and scored two two-point conversions (one rushing, one receiving) in a 48-6 victory over Epping/Newmarket.
James Leblond (Salem)
• Senior running back/defensive back ran for 138 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, and recorded five tackles and interception to help Salem open the season with a victory over Manchester Central.
Garrett Macomber (Plymouth)
• Macomber, Plymouth’s starting fullback, gained 208 yards and scored two touchdowns on 19 carries, and also scored a two-point conversion in a 43-6 victory over Kingswood.
Drew McQuarrie (John Stark)
• Senior quarterback ran for 105 yards and completed 14 of 27 passes for 187 yards (one interception) in a 35-14 victory over Souhegan.
Ryan Milliken (Lebanon)
• Senior running back rushed for 328 yards and five touchdowns on 24 carries in a 34-20 victory over Merrimack Valley.
Moses Murenzi (Bishop Brady)
• Senior running back ran for 208 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-0 victory over Fall Mountain.
Danny Parker (ConVal)
• Running back had 231 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) in a 41-35 loss to Milford.
Jacob Post (Timberlane)
• Post had 258 yards rushing and four touchdowns in Timberlane’s season-opening 48-20 win over Manchester Memorial.
Sam Raitt (Bishop Guertin)
• Quarterback completed 14 of 19 passes for 168 yards and three TDs, and ran the ball 24 times for 127 yards and a TD in a 32-28 victory over Winnacunnet. Raitt tossed a 3-yard TD pass to Henry Boyle with 11.7 seconds left to give the Cardinals the lead for good.
Dante Savo (Souhegan)
• Running back gained 186 yards on 20 carries and rushed for two touchdowns in a loss to John Stark.
Josh Sibanda (Salem)
• Junior running back ran for 210 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries to help Salem defeat Manchester Central 28-13.
Parker Smith (Stevens)• Senior wide receiver caught six passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns to help Stevens defeat Mascoma.
Dan Spezzaferri (ConVal)
• Quarterback  completed 19 of 37 passes for 337 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran for a TD in a 41-35 loss to Milford.
John Thibault (Newport)
• Freshman tailback rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns in his first varsity game to help Newport defeat Kearsarge 21-14.
Hunter Tierney (Winnisquam)
• Quarterback completed 10 of 25 passes for three touchdowns and also ran for a TD in Winnisquam’s 34-19 victory over Somersworth.
Reed Winter (Hanover)
• Winter ran for 94 yards on 26 carries and scored three touchdowns in Hanover’s 34-19 triumph over Laconia.
