New Hampton extends streak

Quarterback Jake Dulac completed 6 of 7 passes for 238 yards and four touchdowns to lead New Hampton to a 55-7 victory over Kents Hill on Saturday.

New Hampton (5-2) scored touchdowns on 8 of its 24 offensive plays. The Huskies took control by outscoring Kents Hill 34-0 in the second quarter to take a 41-7 lead into halftime.

New Hampton’s TDs in the second quarter came on Jack Daley’s 2-yard run; a 45-yard pass from Dulac to Nick Healey; a 67-yard pass from Dulac to Dominic Dimitroff; Daley’s 78-yard run and Dulac’s 49-yard pass to Matt Narewski. Daley finished the game with 95 yards rushing on four carries.

Dimitroff also scored on a 56-yard pass from Dulac in the first quarter. In addition, the Huskies scored when David Henriquez returned a blocked punt 1 yard, and on Nick Spaulding’s 65-yard run.

New Hampton had 472 yards of net offense (238 passing and 234 rushing) and held Kents Hills (0-7) to 164 yards.

New Hampton’s Ian Gobbi had nine tackles, including two sacks and two tackles for loss. Spaulding finished with a team-high 10 tackles, which included one sack and one tackle for loss.
