BOW
Coach: Paul Cohen (17th season).
Division/Conference: Division II North.
2016 Record: 9-3 (lost to Plymouth in the Division II championship game).
Returning Starters on Defense: (6).
Returning Starters on Offense: (7).
Key Returnees: Mark Borak (RB/DB). Jack Corriveau (RB/OLB), Nolan Filteau (OL/DL), Matt Harkins (QB), Justin Porath (TE/DE), Matt Scanlon (CB), Jack Tellifson (OL), Jack Wixson (S), Andrew Berube (OL/DL).
Season Opener: Sept. 2 vs. Pembroke Academy.
Coach’s Comment: “We have a strong core of returning players from last season and a solid group ready to step in and replace a strong senior class. We have experience at key positions from last season, which we feel will help bring along the new players that we expect to contribute this season. We expect every week to be tough. Every team in the North will be improved this season so we see little room to stumble and still qualify for the postseason. North teams that we play and seem to be strong are Plymouth, Kennett and John Stark. South teams that also look strong are Windham, Holllis-Brookline and Milford.”
