Winnacunnet was the talk of the New Hampshire football community Friday night after it stunned Bedford, last year’s Division I champion, 20-8 in Hampton.

Bedford (2-1) entered that game as the top-ranked team in the Union Leader Power Poll. The loss ended the program’s 14-game winning streak.

Winnacunnet, which raised its record to 3-0, received a 3-yard touchdown run from Jordan Fuller; a 44-yard TD pass from quarterback Pat MacDougall to Lou Granger; and a 30-yard TD run from Billy Powers. Evan Welch intercepted Bedford quarterback Connor Robert twice.

Winnacunnet will face rival Exeter (2-1) in Exeter on Saturday (2:30 p.m.)
