West named Team of the Week

NHFR TEAM OF THE WEEK
Manchester West

Jaymeson Maheux rushed for 316 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries to help Manchester West end a 23-game losing streak by beating Pembroke Academy 46-6 Saturday.

It was West’s first victory since 2014, and also the program’s first victory under first-year head coach Tom Bozoian.

Maheux had touchdown runs of 1, 2, 8 and 33 yards, and has run for 889 yards this season. West (1-4) also scored on a 6-yard run from Paul Grossweiler, a 14-yard run from Wil Tyler and a 2-yard run by Tyrese Harris. West rushed for 500 yards on 43 carries en route to the victory.

Harris and Gavin Cere each had a team-high five tackles and two sacks.
