Coach: Sam Cavallaro (fourth year).
Division/Conference: Division II North
2017 Record: 9-1 (lost to Bow 19-7 in Division II semifinals).

Season Opener: Aug. 31 at Kennett
Coach’s Comment: “We have 14 seniors and all are competitive, good football players,” Cavallaro said. “These guys had a large, talented class ahead of them and have been waiting their turn and now it has finally come. Our team challenge will be to develop game experience quickly as every game is a playoff game in Division II. We have three guys competing at the QB position: Mason Winter (senior), Simon Roach (senior) and Caleb Morse (junior). All have different strengths and it will be an interesting camp. Our defense will be fast, aggressive and looking to gain experience from Day 1. Roach and Kegan Silovich return at linebacker to lead the defense. Griffin Young returns as our top all -purpose player who can do it all both offensively, defensively and specials. Bobby Putnam and Elijah Putnam will anchor our offensive and defensive lines and will continue Putnam Power (second of two sets of twins). I like our offensive line as they have been working hard in the weight room in the offseason and have developed a bond with each other. We play Kennett in game 1 up in North Conway and we will have to be ready for the typical battle as any Vaughn Beckwith-coached team will be good. Cannot wait for August 13th.”
