Key Returnees: Aaron Bergeron (WR/DE), Bo Lyons (RB/CB), Jacob Cole (RB/FS), Jacob Ridenour (RB/LB), Logan Beliveau (RB/LB), Noah Bellemore (OL/DL).
Season Opener: Sept.1 vs. Merrimack Valley
Coach’s Comment: “The 2018 Generals strength will come from its depth at the skill positions,” McGinty said. “The defense will be anchored by Noah Bellemore, one of the best DTs in the state. Noah will be backed up by two very good linebackers, Logan Beliveau and Jacob Ridenour. In addition to the five starters on defense we have three additional players who had significant playing time last season. On Offense John Stark will depend on All-State running back Jacob Cole and the speedy Bo Lyons to be their 1-2 punch, while physical wide receiver Aaron Bergeron will add a deep threat in the passing game. Replacing four out of five starting offensive linemen and an All-State QB (Parker McQuarrie) are our major concerns entering this season. Success in 2018 will depend on our ability to piece together an offensive line that can protect our young QB.”
