Windham’s Shea honored by MASCAC

PLYMOUTH –Two members of the Plymouth State University football program were among a group of student-athletes recognized in this week’s Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) weekly football report.

Junior running back David Hamilton and classmate Matt Shea (Windham), a defensive back, were named to the MASCAC Football Weekly Honor Roll after their play in Saturday’s 32-28 loss to Western Connecticut State University in the MASCAC opener at Currier Field.

Hamilton topped the century mark for the second straight game, finishing with 101 yards on 20 carries (5.05 yds/carry) and a touchdown run.
