NHFR TEAM OF THE WEEK
Nashua North

The Titans won a battle of unbeatens last Friday night when Lucas Cunningham’s 33-yard field goal with two seconds to play gave North a 31-28 victory over Exeter at Stellos Stadium.

Cunningham’s field goal capped an 11-play drive that began on the North 12-yard line with 3:05 remaining in the fourth quarter. The victory left the Titans (4-0) as the only unbeaten team on the East/West half of the Division I bracket.

Quarterback Curtis Harris ran for 141 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. His third TD came on a 41-yard run and helped North tie the game, 28-28, with 6:22 left. Exeter (3-1) trailed 21-20 until quarterback Ryan Grijalva scored on a 48-yard run and Jaedon Cliche added the two-point conversion with 9:22 to play.

Running back Xavier Provost scored North’s other touchdown on a 33-yard run before he left the game with a knee injury early in the third quarter.
