Pelham stopped Souhegan on a two-point-conversion attempt in overtime to pick up a 21-20 victory Friday night that extended the team’s winning streak to three games.

After Souhegan tied the game on an Austin Jain 1-yard quarterback sneak with 1:42 left in regulation, the Pythons struck first in overtime when Charlie Katin scored on a 10-yard run and Jake Herrling added the point-after kick. Ryan Hauser answered by scoring on Souhegan’s first play of overtime, but the Sabers couldn’t cash in when they went for two points and the win.

The victory raised Pelham’s record to 4-2. Souhegan is also 4-2.

Pelham’s other TDs came on Matt Muise’s 1-yard run, and Ian Hoey’s 6-yard run. Souhegan’s other touchdown was a 30-yard pass from Jain to Connor Holland.
