Epping/Newmarket’s Nalen resigns

Anthony Nalen has resigned as Epping/Newmarket’s varsity football coach and has been named the head coach at Lunenberg (Mass.) High School.

Nalen, 32, spent one season at Epping/Newmarket, which competed in Division III last season but has since dropped to Division IV. Epping/Newmarket posted a 3-6 record last season and failed to make the Division III playoffs.

Epping has posted the following regarding the position:

Epping High School, in conjunction with Newmarket High School, is seeking a head varsity football coach. The applicant should have prior coaching experience at the high school level as well as be prepared to meet all NHIAA eligibility by-laws and educational requirements.

The application deadline is June 1.
