NHFR TEAM OF THE WEEK
Bedford Bulldogs

Bedford took advantage of five Londonderry turnovers and ended the Lancers’ 14-game winning streak by earning a 26-7 victory Friday night in Londonderry.

Bedford quarterback Joe Mikol completed 17 of 29 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown, and also kicked two field goals (22 and 34 yards) in the win. Londonderry, last year’s Division I champion, entered the contest with a 2-0 record and was ranked No. 2 in the Union Leader Power Poll. Bedford (2-1) was No. 7.

Soloman Sanchez had a pair of 1-yard TD runs for the Bulldogs, who led 20-7 at halftime. Sanchez also caught seven passes for 70 yards. Dylan Kumbani had seven receptions for 47 yards, including a 9-yard TD catch.
