Morrall, Redhawks knock off Pembroke

Jack Morrall accounted for 115 yards of offense, ran for a touchdown and caught a TD pass to lead Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton to a 22-13 victory over Pembroke Academy on Sunday in Hopkinton.

Morrall ran the ball 16 times for 59 yards, and caught three passes for 56 yards. He also ran in two two-point conversions. The Redhawks also received a 54-yard TD catch from John Jacobsen. H-D/H quarterback Mike Oberheim complete 5 of 8 passes for 126 yards and two TDs.

The loss dropped Pembroke Academy’s Division II record to 3-1. The Spartans allowed 34 points in their first three games. H-D/H extended its winning streak to three games and improved to 3-1.
