Lebanon game cancelled

Saturday’s Division II semifinal between Lebanon and Plymouth has been cancelled because of issues related to COVID-19.

A Bow football player has reportedly tested postitive for COVID-19, and Lebanon played Bow in last Saturday’s Division II quarterfinals. Lebanon coach Chris Childs said his team will be forced to quarantine and will not be allowed to take the field Saturday.

Three other teams — Exeter, St. Thomas and Winnisquam — have each forfeited a playoff game this season because of issues related to COVID-19.

Plymouth will advance and play the winner of the Souhegan-Timberlane semifinal in this year’s Division II championship game.
