UNH will attend NH Showcase

As a reminder, New England Gridiron Development’s 2021 New Hampshire Football Showcase, the state’s premier recruiting event, will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Saint Anselm College’s Grappone Stadium.

Pads and helmets are not needed. Those who attend should wear shorts and cleats (turf field). You will be assigned a numbered shirt so the college coaches in attendance can identify you.

Although this is a teaching event,  the Showcase is designed primarily to increase exposure for high school and prep school players by allowing them to perform in combine and football-specific drills with college coaches from throughout Northeast in attendance. All offensive and defensive positions are invited to attend. Before breaking into position groups the athletes will be tested at the following combine stations: pro-agility shuttle, the L drill, the 40-yard dash, the standing broad jump and the vertical jump.

NOTE: There will be drills for offensive and defensive linemen, who will be working with former Bates coach Skip Capone.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Parents can watch from the stands, but are not allowed on the field. There are multiple parking lots surrounding the stadium.

We currently have eight spots available, as we are capping the number of athletes at 100 so each player can get a good look from the college programs. The cost is $129. Visit the New England Gridiron Development Registration Page to reserve your spot.
