Trinity-Pelham game cancelled

Friday night’s NHIAA Division III football game between Pelham and Trinity scheduled to be played in Manchester has been cancelled because of COVID issues within the Trinity program, according to Trinity coach Rob Cathcart.

Trinity (5-0) and Pelham (5-0) are the only unbeaten teams in Division III.

Cathcart said the Trinity program is on pause for 10 days, but he expects the Pioneers to play their Oct. 16 home game against Stevens.

At this point it’s unclear how games cancelled because of COVID will be handled in the NHIAA standings.
