Yukica dies at 90

Former Dartmouth and University of New Hampshire coach Joe Yukica died Saturday at age 90.

Yukica, who played tight end at Penn State, served as UNH’s head coach in 1966 an 1967 and at Dartmouth from 1978 to 1986. He was also the head coach at Boston College from 1968 to 1977.  He had a career coaching record of 111-93-4.

The New Hampshire Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame is named for Yukica.
