UNH will tangle with Harvard

Two of New England’s most tradition-rich football programs, Harvard and the University of New Hampshire, announced Thursday an agreement to go head-to-head in a home-and-home series in 2024 and 2026.

UNH will visit Harvard Stadium on Oct. 5, 2024, and Harvard will come to Wildcat Stadium on Sept. 19, 2026.

“Renewing this series is important for the UNH football program and for New England college football at the FCS level,” UNH head coach Rick Santos said. “We have a great deal of respect for coach Tim Murphy and the success he’s built at Harvard, and we always embrace the challenge of facing strong competition.”

UNH and Harvard have met seven times in their history, and the last meeting was Nov. 18, 1939.
