NHFR Team of the Week: Kennett

Kennett Eagles

The Eagles took a huge step toward qualifying for the Division II playoffs by defeating Plymouth 20-7 in Conway on Friday night.

The Eagles forced three turnovers, including interceptions by Sawyer Hussey and Tyler Walcott, and improved to 4-3. Plymouth fell to 3-4.

Evan Koroski led the Kennett offense by rushing for 130 yards on 14 carries. He also recorded 10 tackles. The Eagles also received 110 yards rushing and nine tackles from Sean Carrier.

Kennett is currently ranked seventh overall in Division II, which will send eight teams to the playoffs. The Eagles will complete the regular season with road games against Merrimack Valley (3-4) and Hollis-Brookline (1-6).
