Alvirne goes with Lee

Matt Lee has been approved as the varsity football coach at Alvirne High School. Lee has spent the last 11 seasons as an assistant at Greater Lowell Tech in Tyngsboro, Mass.

Lee replaces Tarek Rothe, who resigned following the 2022 season. Rothe has since joined the staff and Windham High School, where he is also coaching indoor track.

Alvirne went 1-9 last season and ended a 23-game losing streak by beating Goffstown, 55-26.
