QB/Receiver skill sessions offered Saturday

Quarterback and receiver training sessions will be offered Saturday at McCarthy Middle School in Chelmsford, Mass. There will be a session for middle school athletes at 11:30 a.m. and a session for high school athletes at 1 p.m.

The sessions will be run by Trevor Knight and Troy Pelletier. Knight, who played quarterback at the University of New Hampshire, was the Division I New England Player of the Year in 2017 and played professionally with the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was on the 2019 Winnipeg team that won the Grey Cup.

Pelletier is a former professional wide receiver who was two-time All-American at Lehigh. He set the Patriot League record for career receptions and was a finalist for the Walter Payton Award, which is awarded annually to the top offensive player at the NCAA FCS level.
