Coach’s Comment: “We are returning almost all of our starting unit on both offense and defense from last year. Last year a lot of young guys got to experience varsity football for the first time, and it left a lot of kids hungry to get better. We have had a decent turnout during summer workouts, as well as a bunch of kids in the weight room all winter, spring, and summer. We have the tough task of replacing Eric McGrath, who last year had a significant hip injury, which is still bothering him, forcing him to not play his senior year. The whole offensive line is returning from last season, with a few moving parts on the line. This should be a fun year and I am excited to see how the hard work in the offseason translates to the playing field on Friday nights.”
