John Stark Generals

The Generals raised their Division II record to 2-0 by beating Hanover 30-22 in Weare.

John Stark, which was coming off a 30-27 victory over Milford in Week 1, built a 22-6 halftime lead thanks to touchdown runs from Tim Lacharite, Donnie White and Weston Haartz. Joey Dykstra added a fourth-quarter TD run for the Generals.

Hanover, which beat Hollis-Brookline 45-0 on the road last week, received two TD runs from Jeffrey Vidou, who also tossed a touchdown pass.

John Stark sealed the win by recovering an onside kick that followed Hanover’s final touchdown.
