WEEK 8

Daniel Batstone (Exeter)
Batstone rushed for two touchdowns (24 yards and 16 yards) to help the Blue Hawks end a three-game losing streak by beating Manchester Memorial 28-7 Saturday. Batstone also picked up 25 yards on a fake punt during a drive that led to Exeter’s go-ahead TD in the third quarter.

Danny Black (Bedford)
Black, a senior quarterback, completed 12 of 13 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran for a TD to help Bedford defeat Thornton Academy, 38-7.

Tyler Christian (Stevens)
Christian, a senior quarterback, ran for 223 yards and three touchdowns in a 22-7 victory over  ConVal on Friday night. He also rushed for a two-point conversion, and made eight tackles (seven solo).


XTRA MEMBERSHIPS


Max Durkin (Portsmouth/Oyster River)
Durkin, an offensive/defensive tackle, made six tackles during a 13-7 victory over Merrimack, including a sack and four other tackles for loss. He also had two pancake blocks to help the ClipperCats improve to 8-0.

Logan Grant (Gilford/Belmont)
Grant, a senior wide receiver, had three catches for 142 yards and a touchdown to help the Golden Eagles remain in the playoff picture with a 38-27 triumph over Hanover.

Noah Harder (Gilford/Belmont)
A junior running back, Harder ran for 143 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries during a 38-27 triumph over Hanover.

Hutch Haskins (Gilford/Belmont)
Haskins, a senior running back/linebacker, recorded a team-high 15 tackles, including seven solo stops, in a 38-27 win at Hanover. He carried the ball seven times for 73 yards, and also caught two passes for 38 yards and a TD.

Gabe Kean (Plymouth)
Kean, a senior running back, carried the ball 13 times for 132 yards and a touchdown in Plymouth’s 28-14 victory at St. Thomas.

Memphis Patterson (Pelham)
Patterson, a defensive tackle, recorded two sacks and returned a fumble 26 yards for a touchdown as Pelham improved to 7-0 by beating Souhegan, 40-21.

Liam Shannon (Plymouth)
Shannon, a junior linebacker, recorded 16 tackles and had a pass breakup for the Bobcats in their 28-14 victory against St. Thomas.

Hunter Trueman (Spaulding)
Trueman ran for a game-high 138 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-14 victory over Nashua South. He also had two receptions for 43 yards.

Anakin Underhill (Gilford/Belmont)
Underhill, a junior quarterback, passed for 180 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for two TDs in a 38-27 victory over Hanover.
