Coach’s Comment: “We return a lot of experience after a surprising run to the
championship game. A lot of players are returning at the same positions, so we will have to see who has improved the most since last year and can increase their touches or at least maintain. Like everybody we lost a few players who will be tough to replace so hopefully some newcomers can come into camp and lay claim to those spots. A lot of those players got quality playing time last year so hopefully they learn from that experience and can develop from it. I was very impressed with our commitment to the weight room in the offseason and some kids have made some big gains. I expect to see some intense competition in camp for playing time.”
