Dartmouth defeats Penn

Jackson Proctor passed for 232 yards and two touchdowns to lead Dartmouth to a 20-17 victory over Penn in Hanover on Saturday.


GAME STATISTICS


Dartmouth trailed 14-10 at halftime, but put together a nine-play, 75-yard scoring drive in the third quarter that ended with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Procter to Paxton Scott. The big play of the drive came on third-and-1 at midfield when Q Jones ran for 33 yards yards.

Penn took its last lead when Malachi Hosley scored from the 1 to conclude a 10-play, 69-yard drive that made it 14-10.

Dartmouth (3-0, 1-0 Ivy League) has won six of the last seven meetings between the teams.

WESTERN CONNECTICUT STATE 48, PLMOUTH STATE 21

PLYMOUTH – Senior Willie Lombard rushed for a season high 124 yards and scored two more touchdowns, but league-leading Western Connecticut State University used a big second half to top Plymouth State University, 48-21, in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) football game at Panther Field on Saturday.


GAME STATISTICS


WestConn carried a 21-14 lead into the break and its offense took over in the second half, outscoring PSU by a 27-7 margin. Plymouth State slipped to 1-3 (1-3 MASCAC), while the Wolves moved to 4-1 (4-0 MASCAC).

SAINT ANSELM 56, POST 28

The Saint Anselm College football team extended its winning streak to three games by beating Post 56-28 Saturday.


GAME STATISTICS


The Hawks’ offense scored eight touchdowns and had 584 yards of total offense. Freshman running back Jake Croce led Saint Anselm with 14 carries for 129 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
