NHFR Team of the Week: Concord

NHFR TEAM OF THE WEEK
Concord Crimson Tide

The Crimson Tide ended a two-game losing streak and thrust itself into the Division I playoff picture with a 20-7 victory over Windham on Friday night.

Concord (3-2 overall, 3-1 Division I) scored 20 straight points after Hayden Tedesco’s 5-yard run helped the Jaguars take a 7-0 lead. Concord took a 14-7 lead on Tim Fahnbulleh’s 13-yard TD run and Colby Nyhan’s 38-yard TD pass to Brett Tuttle. Tuttle’s TD capped a six-play, 80-yard drive with 53 seconds left in the first half.

Nyhan, who completed 9 of 14 passes for 138 yards (one interception), kicked field goals from 25 and 35 yards in the second half.

The victory moved Concord into a tie for the eighth spot in this week’s Power Poll, which was released Monday night.
