In a matchup that sent the winning team to the playoffs and ended the losing team’s season, West scored on the game’s final play to extend its season.

Quarterback Gio Doria tossed a 20-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Bovill as time expired to earn the Blue Knights their first playoff appearance since 2007.

West’s final drive began on its own 25-yard line with 55 seconds to play. Doria completed 9-of-18 passes for 223 yards and three TDs in the win. KeShawn Foster caught two passes for 115 yards and two TDs, and ran for 34 yards on four carries.

The victory improved West’s Division II record to 6-3 and earned the Blue Knights the No. 7 seed for the Division II playoffs. Hanover completed its season with a 4-5 record.

Bovil had two receptions for 28 yards.
