Coming Thursday: Yukica Watch List

The 20 NHIAA players selected to the 2025 Joe Yukica Player of the Year Watch List will be released Thursday. 

The Watch List was created to promote the Yukica Player of the Year Award, which represents the top NHIAA player each season and was presented for the first time in 2023. Souhegan High School’s J.J. Bright was the inaugural winner, and Campbell High School’s Scott Hershberger won the award last year. A vote by NHIAA head coaches and selected media members determines the winner, who DOES NOT have to come from the Watch List.

Further announcements regarding the Joe Yukica Player of the Year Award will be made on the following dates:

Nov. 6: 10 semifinalists announced
Nov. 20: Three finalists announced
Nov. 27: Winner announced

Note: Any media outlet that has not been receiving emails regarding the Yukica Player of the Year Award but would like to be added to the mailing list can forward that request to nhfootballreport@gmail.com.
