BOX SCORE

After winning the coin toss and deferring to the second half, the Pilgrims went on defense to start the game. The Eagles’ six-minute drive ended after a fourth down stop by the Pilgrims defense. The teams would trade scoreless drives until the Eagles found the end zone off a Max Clark pass to Cam Holmes for the first points of the game.

It took just over six minutes for Husson to score again as Clark fired a 16-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Lenz to extend the lead to 13-0. Husson found the end zone two more times as the Eagles took a 27-0 lead into halftime.

Husson had their run game working to score three more touchdowns in the second half to secure the 48-0 conference win. Sophomore Fire Anderson (Cranford, N.J.) and Junior Icean Taylor (Manchester, N.H.) combined for 42 rushing yards on the afternoon as sophomore Conrado Lago (Methuen, Mass.) collected 22 receiving yards.
