CAA releases game times

RICHMOND, Va. (March 25, 2026) – CAA Football has announced the game times for all conference matchups during the 2026 season, as well as non-conference home contests.
The opening week of the season is highlighted by a pair of conference matchups as Maine travels to Towson at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, followed by UAlbany hosting New Hampshire at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28. CAA Football newcomer Sacred Heart plays its first conference game at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 5 with a visit to Monmouth.
The conference slate includes four home games and four road contests for all 13 teams. When building the schedule, pairing teams within the same geographic area was taken into consideration as well as preserving rivalry games. Limiting air travel to reduce costs was a priority.
The non-conference schedule features 15 games against FBS opponents, with six on September 5 and five on September 12. CAA teams will meet three foes from the ACC (Boston College, Stanford, Syracuse), two from the SEC (Florida, South Carolina), one from the Big Ten (Maryland) and three from the American (Army, Navy, Temple).
Three CAA Football teams earned FCS playoff berths in 2025, marking the 18th time in the past 20 years that the conference has had at least three teams selected. The conference has had at least one team advance to the semifinals in 10 of the last 12 years and has had a team reach the national championship game 11 times since 2003.
