Showcase will feature players from five states

At least five of the six New England states will be represented at Saturday’s New Hampshire Football Showcase. The registration list currently shows players from Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Athletes from 23 New Hampshire schools are currently registered. Portsmouth/Oyster River and Manchester West lead the way with six athletes each. The full New Hampshire breakdown:

This year’s event will be held Saturday (9 a.m-noon) at Saint Anselm College. Twenty-six college have said they plan to attend:

Showcase Colleges
Division I (FCS): UNH, URI
Division II: Saint Anselm, Franklin Pierce, Assumption, Bentley
Division III: Vermont State-Castleton, Norwich, Plymouth State, New England College, Bates, Husson, University of New England, Maine Maritime, Mass. Maritime, Bowdoin, Trinity, Endicott, Framingham State, Fitchburg State, WPI, Nichols, Curry, Springfield, WNEC and Williams.

There will be pre-event and post-event coverage of the New Hampshire Football Showcase on the New Hampshire Football Report and on Prep Redzone.
