Coach’s Comment:We were fortunate to compete at a high level for what felt like a lot of years, but unfortunately last year were not that team, or at least not on a consistent basis. We had great kids who worked hard, but at times the ball did not bounce our way, we were not tough enough on defense, and we were not always the most prepared team on the field, which lands on me. We need to get back to who we were during those highly competitive years. We have a large senior class, and it’s a group we’ve been looking forward to for several years now. We are happy about the return of Isaac Leeper, a lineman who came back to Londonderry High School from Phillips Andover, and we are excited about the development of some of our guys this off-season such as Broch St. Gelias, Eli Bettencourt, Matt Cocci, Max Frederick, and Jorge Ribota. We’re also excited to see some of our talented sophomores have a chance to make an impact for us this season such as Luke Pinkos, Caique Sa, Jackson Rao, and several others. It will ultimately land on the seniors and how much they gained from last years’ experience on the field. The goal for us is to compete well on Fridays and get better every week, and like everyone else, we hope the boys stay healthy!”
