Coach’s Comment: “The players worked hard in the weight room this off season. We have strong senior and junior classes that have multiple years in our system. Our strength will be a very experienced offensive backfield with returning All-State talent. The offensive line will be a work in progress as we lost four starters from the 2025 playoff team. I would expect Coach Wood at Hillsboro-Deering to be the team to beat. They are the defending champions and always have well-coached, tough kids. Newport is coming back to Division IV, and they were very competitive the last two years in Division III. I also expect Newfound to be a tough team. They finally have some stability with coaching and a group of talented kids that were much improved in 2025 from 2024.”
