Londonderry wins Assumption 7-on-7 tournament

Londonderry High School won the Assumption 7-on-7 tournament Sunday. The Lancers went 7-0 and beat Peabody, Mass., in the championship game.

Londonderry’s other victories came against Danvers, Mass., Bedford, Mass., Chelmsford, Mass., Killingly, Conn., Lynnfield, Mass., and Billerica, Mass.

Londonderry’s roster featured the following seniors: Joe St. Brice, Cam MacDonald, Pete Navarro,
Kevin Lowe, Johnny Meskell, Jake Stevens, Brandyn Proulx, Eric Doran, Brandon Radford, Nick Scarfo, Zac Garside, Xavier Cora, Mark Bickford, Colin Reardon and Evan Cormier,

Londonderry entered two teams in the tournament. Its second team finished the competition with a 2-2 record.

Londonderry is among the teams entered in the Under Armour Northeast 7-on-7 tournament’s North Regional on July 16 at Exeter High School. The North Regional will have 40 teams and is one of three sites for the 120-team tournament. All six New England states will be represented in the tournament.
