NHIAA championship tickets on sale

DURHAM – For the third straight year, and for the first time at Wildcat Stadium, the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association’s three high school state championship football games will be played at the home of the University of New Hampshire Wildcats.

The NHIAA Championship tripleheader is set for Saturday, Nov. 19, and includes the Division III final (11 a.m.), the Division II final (2:30 p.m.) and the Division I final (6 p.m.). One ticket ($8 adults, $6 youth/students/seniors) is good for admission to all three games.

“We are delighted that our partnership with the NHIAA allows the best high school football teams in New Hampshire to compete at the best football facility in New Hampshire,” said UNH director of athletics Marty Scarano. “The Road to Durham has had a special feel since 2014, and that feeling is only enhanced by the stadium amenities for the fans and the incredible gameday atmosphere for the athletes.”

Fans can purchase and print tickets directly from home through the convenience of www.unhwildcats.com, by calling (603) 862-4000 during regular box office hours (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) weekdays at the Whittemore Center and on game day at the Wildcat Stadium box office (Gate A) beginning at 9:30 a.m.

“The NHIAA is ecstatic about the opportunity our schools will have to participate at the premiere athletic facility in the state of New Hampshire for the sport of football,” said NHIAA executive director Jeff Collins. “While the playing experience over the past two years at UNH has been special for our student athletes, the new stadium will provide fans of New Hampshire football an experience reflective of the outstanding competition on the field.”
