Griffin remains with Texans

Former Londonderry High Schools standout Ryan Griffin signed a three-year, $9 million contract with the Houston Texans on Saturday that reportedly includes $3.2 million guaranteed. Griffin had been an unrestricted free agent for nearly three full days.
Griffin, a 6-foot-6, 265-pound tight end, caught a career-high 50 passes for 442 yards and two touchdowns last season. Houston selected Griffin in the sixth round (201st overall) of the 2014 NFL draft.
Griffin has 99 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns in his four-year NFL career.
