CHaD rosters released

Rosters have been released for the CHaD New Hampshire East-West High School All-Star Football Game. Eighty-six players from across the state have
been selected to participate in the fundraising game that benefits Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD).

This year’s contest will be played June 30 (1 p.m.) at the University of New Hampshire’s Wildcat Stadium, the site of the original game.

Team West, coached by Concord High School’s Eric Brown, features a roster with 43 players representing 17 schools across all three high school divisions. Bedford has six players on the roster, and Plymouth, which has won the last two Division II state championships, leads a contingent of schools with five players. The last two New Hampshire Gatorade Players of the Year  – Goffstown’s Andrew Duval (2017) and Plymouth’s Garrett Macomber (2016) — will play for Team West.

Team East will be coached by Laconia High School’s Craig Kozens. East’s 43 players come from 15 different schools, including five from Division I champion Winnacunnet. Perennial power Exeter placed five athletes on the team
while Division I runner-up Pinkerton had three players selected. There are 73 first-team all-state players on this year’s rosters.

Fans can purchase tickets, make a donation to their favorite player, and learn about the history of the game on the CHaD web site: www.CHaDAllStarFootball.org. Tickets are $10 and will go on sale in February.
