Windham Jaguars

Windham extended its winning streak to three games and kept its Division I playoff hopes alive by beating Pinkerton Academy 35-21 on the road Friday night.
Windham’s Tommy Emrick, a senior running back, ran for 151 yards and a touchdown, and caught four passes for 59 yards and a TD in the win. The Jaguars (5-3) led 21-7 at halftime and 35-7 in the fourth quarter. Pinkerton (5-2) entered the contest as the No. 2 team in the Union Leader Power Poll.
Emrick opened the scoring on a 1-yard run, and then caught a 16-yard TD pass from quarterback Cody Potter. Potter also tossed TD passes to Stephan Robert (5 yards) and Rocky Heres (6 yards). Cody Stevens added a 4-yard TD run.
Windham, which is in its first season of Division I competition, ran for 301 yards in the victory.
The Jaguars will qualify for the Division I playoffs if they beat Portsmouth (1-7) Friday night and Winnacunnet (5-2) defeats Pinkerton. Windham could finish as high as the No. 3 seed in the South/East playoff bracket.
