NOTE: The following assumes the NHIAA will use the Football Point Rating to select and seed playoff teams this year. An official announcement regarding that subject could come later this week. The Football Point Rating is explained below:

Division III Playoff Picture

Division III Standings/Schedule

CAMPBELL (5-2): Will secure a playoff berth with a victory. Can finish as high as No. 3.

CONVAL (0-7): Eliminated from playoff contention.

INTER-LAKES/MOULTONBOROUGH (1-6): Eliminated from playoff contention.

KEARSARGE (4-2): Will qualify by beating I-L/M this weekend. Can be seeded as high as No. 3.

LACONIA (4-3): Would need to win at least one of its two remaining games (Trinity and Campbell) and get some help to qualify.

MONADNOCK (3-2): Will need to upset unbeaten Pelham this weekend to keep its playoff hopes alive. Denied a chance to play its way into the playoffs by having its game against Kearsarge cancelled.

PELHAM (6-0): Will finish as the No. 2 seed if it finishes 8-0 and Trinity finishes 8-0. Would need Trinity to lose to secure the No. 1 seed.

STEVENS (3-4): Would have to win twice and get help from Kearsarge to qualify.

TRINITY (6-0): Will earn the No. 1 seed by finishing 8-0.

WINNISQUAM (0-6): Eliminated from playoff contention.

The NHIAA Football Point Rating awards 10 points for a victory and two points for each game a beaten opponent has won. So a victory over a team that’s 5-4 is worth 20 points — 10 for the win and two for each of the five games that team has won.
