MaxPreps honors Heenan

Drew Heenan of Londonderry High School has been named the 2022 MaxPreps New Hampshire High School Football Player of the Year. Heenan, a 5-foot-8, 180-pound senior quarterback, led the Lancers to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the Division 1 championship game.

The Lancers didn’t lose a regular season game to an in-state opponent as Heenan put up nearly 2,000 total yards and 24 touchdowns.
Heenan was a two-year starter for Londonderry and helped the Lancers reach the state title game in both seasons, including a win as a junior. The three-sport athlete will continue his high school athletic career on the track and the diamond before graduating in the summer.
Each state’s MaxPreps Player of the Year will be considered for inclusion in the MaxPreps All-America Team, which will be released January 10.
