Pelham’s streak ranks fourth nationally

Pelham High School will enter the 2023 season with the fourth longest active winning streak nationally in 11-man high school football.

Pelham has won 30 straight games and three consecutive state championships. The Pythons went 8-0 and won the Division III title in 2020; went 10-0 and won the Division III title in 2021; and went 12-0 and won the Division II title last season.

Plymouth holds the state’s longest winning streak (57 games). That streak ended when Kennett beat Plymouth 20-9 in 2010.

50 – John Milledge Academy (Georgia)

32 – Franklin (Texas), Marion Local (Ohio)

30 – Pelham (New Hampshire), Fall River (California), Garden City (New York), Indianapolis Lutheran (Indiana), Quince Orchard (Maryland)

27 – Caldwell (New Jersey)

26 – Bennington (Nebraska)
