UNH remains at No. 11

RICHMOND, Va. – Four CAA Football teams were ranked and four others received votes in the first regular-season Stats Perform FCS Top 25 poll, presented by FedEx Ground.

William & Mary (1-0) remained at No. 4 in the poll following a 34-24 victory at Campbell last Thursday. The Tribe faces Wofford in its home opener on Saturday night.

New Hampshire (1-0) stayed at No. 11 after it rolled to a 51-17 win at Stonehill last week. The Wildcats are back on the road against MAC member Central Michigan on Saturday.

Delaware (1-0) jumped up three spots to No. 19 following its 37-13 triumph at Stony Brook last Thursday. The Blue Hens face a tough task this Saturday as they travel to Penn State.

Rhode Island (0-1) is ranked No. 22 after a 42-35 setback at FBS member Georgia State. The Rams entertain Stony Brook for their home opener on Friday night.

Richmond (0-1), Villanova (1-0), Elon (0-1) and UAlbany (1-1) were among other teams receiving votes.

CAA Football’s four ranked teams trailed only the Big Sky and Missouri Valley with six apiece. When adding in the four squads that received votes, CAA Football’s eight teams in the poll were the most of any conference.
