Kearsarge cancels varsity season

Kearsarge has cancelled the remainder of its varsity football season and has forfeited its final five games.
According to Kearsarge athletic director Scott Fitzgerald, the Cougars will play only junior varsity games for the remainder of the 2023 season. Fitzgerald cited “low numbers” as the reason for the forfeits.
Kearsarge was 0-4 entering last weekend and was outscored 107-28 in those four games. The teams that picked up forfeit victories are Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough, Trinity, Monadnock, Campbell and Epping/Newmarket.
