Fuller honored by Patriot League

Holy Cross running back Jordan Fuller has been named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Fuller, a junior who lives in North Hampton, helped the Crusaders (4-2, 2-0 Patriot League) to a 55-27 victory over Bucknell on Saturday.  He totaled 162 yards of offense, including a career-best 147 rushing yards, while also rushing for four touchdowns.

For the second time this season, Fuller rushed for four touchdowns in a game — he and former Pinkerton Academy standout Joe Segretti (1988) — are the only Crusaders in history to have two games with four rushing touchdowns in the same season.

Fuller, who played at Winnacunnet High School, now ranks second in program history with 35 career rushing touchdowns. His 13 rushing touchdowns this season are tied for fifth in single-season program history.

He leads all FCS players in rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns (14) and scoring (14.0 points per game), while also ranking ninth among FCS players in rushing yards (587).

This marks the second time this season that Fuller has earned weekly honors from the Patriot League; he previously was named the league’s Offensive Player of the Week after totaling five touchdowns over Merrimack on Sept. 2.
