Pelham’s streak ranks fourth

Pelham High School will enter the 2024 season tied for the fourth longest active winning streak nationally in 11-man high school football.

Pelham has won 41 straight games and four consecutive state championships. The Pythons went 8-0 and won the Division III title in 2020; went 10-0 and won the Division III title in 2021; went 12-0 and won the Division II title last s

John Trisciani replaced Tom Babaian as Pelham’s head coach following the 2023 season.

Plymouth holds the state’s longest winning streak (57 games). That streak ended when Kennett beat Plymouth 20-9 in 2010.
